Congratulations to our girls softball team for beating Newaygo two times tonight and winning the CSAA Red Conference Title. The girls went 10-0 in league play!

Newaygo County Champions! Last weekend the baseball and softball teams competed in the Newaygo County Tournament and both teams came away with championships. The girls beat White Cloud in the semis and then Fremont in the finals. The boys beat White Cloud in the semis and Newaygo in the finals. Congrats to both groups.

Today our Golf team competed in the CSAA Championship at Bowen Lake. As a team they finished in 4th place and congratulations to Easton Swanson and Gage Rasch for earning All-Conference Honorable Mention.

Lets try this again as our game was canceled on Monday. Wednesday our Varsity Softball and Baseball teams take on the team from the north in the last CSAA conference double header of the season. The baseball team will be recognizing their Seniors between games. Come on out and cheer on the Tigers and show some support to 6 seniors who have played a lot of baseball together. The Senior recognition will take place between game, roughly 5:30 or a little after.

JV Baseball and Varsity Baseball/Softball have been canceled today due to incoming weather and storms. We are looking at Wednesday being our make-up day for all games. We will also recognize our Senior baseball players on Wednesday as well.

The Grant Tigers Boys Basketball program will be teaming up with Grace Christian University to put on a two day basketball clinic for both boys and girls. Coach Krombeen, Grace Christians head coach, along with some of his staff and players will be hosting a clinic tailored for our youth athletes in grades 3 through 8. This camp will aim to enhance participants' understanding of the game while improving their individual skills and techniques. They will cover all aspects of basketball; dribbling, shooting, offensive strategies, defensive strategies and much more.
We invite all youth boys and girls in grades 3 - 8 who love the game of basketball to join of for 2 days of hoops. This is a great opportunity to learn from college coaches and players and enhance your basketball knowledge and skills.
Must register before Friday, May 29th to be guaranteed a shirt. Registration will close Friday, June 5th.
Dates: June 8 and 9
Times: 9AM - 12:00PM (3rd - 5th) and 1:00PM - 4:00PM (6th - 8th) - If we don't have enough to fill both time slots we will combine and change our times.

Grant Athletics for the week of May 18 - 23rd. The spring sports seasons are coming to an end and it is getting closer to postseason. Our soccer team has their district game on Wednesday in Clare with a 6PM start.

Looking ahead to the 2026-2027 athletic season we wanted to get some information out regards GPS students admission to home athletic contests. Starting next year Grant students will still be able to get into home games for free but will need to show their GPS Student IDs. We will also have our yearly family passes available to purchases, individual passes and student passes.
Students will be able to use their 2025-2026 Student IDs at the start of the school year until the new IDs are issued.

Saturday was a successful day for both the Tigers Tennis team and Varsity Baseball team as they each won their home tournaments. The girls came away with a first place finish beating Fremont, WMC and MCC. The boys baseball team beat Orchard View 15-0 and then Whitehall 11-0 in the finals. Nice job Tigers!

Tonight our soccer team played a non conference game against Ravenna and battled to a 1-1 tie. Bri Clouser had the loan goal for the tigers. The game tonight was a Cancer Awareness game and the girls helped support the cause by wearing some pink of their own.
