On Wednesday the Grant Varsity Soccer team scored 2 goals in the first half. Maddux Page scoring both with assists from Ramon Aleman and Chandel Lara. In the second half Maddux scored two more goals with assists from goalie Blake Vantreese and Chandel Lara. Newaygo scored in the second half and Chandel Lara drained a goal off of a free kick past the Newaygo goalie. The final score was Grant 5 Newaygo 1. This win moved the Tigers into 2nd place in the CSAA.

Grant Tiger Athletics - Sept. 15 - 20. We have a special night on Thursday, Sept. 18th as we will honor our Senior Soccer players!
On Saturday our Cross team took part in the Sparta Invite. Shawn Warmuskerken finished in the top 50 and posted a new Season Record (SR) for himself. Other highlights included Bryce Wallace (SR), Dylan Carpenter (PR), and Lilly McCormick who finished in the top 30 for girls as well as set a new PR.

Tonight our soccer team battled to a 1-1 tie against the Cardinals of Big Rapids. In the first half Noah Davis got an assist when Maddux Page knocked in a goal to go up 1-0. Minutes later BR tied it up 1-1 and that would be all the scoring. Tonights game ball went to Gavin Page for his solid defense and a non goalie save to keep the game tied 1-1.
