Saturday was a successful day for both the Tigers Tennis team and Varsity Baseball team as they each won their home tournaments. The girls came away with a first place finish beating Fremont, WMC and MCC. The boys baseball team beat Orchard View 15-0 and then Whitehall 11-0 in the finals. Nice job Tigers!

Tonight our soccer team played a non conference game against Ravenna and battled to a 1-1 tie. Bri Clouser had the loan goal for the tigers. The game tonight was a Cancer Awareness game and the girls helped support the cause by wearing some pink of their own.

The tennis team dominated on senior night beating Kenowa Hills 7-1. The Tigers swept the singles. Megan, Tyra, Harley and Katrena didn't give up more than 2 games on their route to victory. Senior Emerson Mayra and Ashlyn won 10-8 in the third set at ONE DOUBLES. Madisyn and Violet dominated again. The FOUR DOULES duo of seniors Lilly VanMeter and Payton Bouwkamp shut out their oppenents 6-0 in the second set. Completing the senior sweep, Irune and Jaicee won 8-2.

The girls tennis team tied Lowell 4-4 Tuesday night. #1 Doubles, led by senior captain Emerson Mayra, came back after dropping the first set to win 3-6, 6-1, 10-5. Two Dubs won easily and 4 doubles also claimed victory with a 6-2, 7-5 win. Tyra Zerlaut won the lone single point at 2 singles winning 3 and 2. The girls host Kenowa Hills tonight at home!

The Golf team played in the Warrior Scramble at The Royal Golf Course at Canadian Lakes Wednesday. Braving the cold and windy conditions Easton Swanson and Gage Rasch shot an 87 placing 7th and picking up a medal for a top 10 finish. Great job boys!!!

Yesterday we had two teams compete Ian the first CSAA Cornhole Championship held at Tri County HS. Cam Jordan and Jayden Avink teamed up and went 2-2 on the day. The other team was Montana Hansen and Emerson Obenauf. They ended up 0-2 on the day (at least they got to get out of class...lol). Good job guys, now the training starts for next year!

Tonight we have a couple home events. At 3PM our MS track team will be compete in a CSAA Tri with Newaygo and Lakeview. Then right after we turn our track and field stadium into a soccer stadium as our Varsity girls host Reed City. Game time for soccer will be 6PM or 15 minutes following the MS track meet.

Cost for the MS track meet and soccer is $5 per person with at $20 family cap. We will also be accepting CSAA passes. Come on out and support our Tigers.

Soccer Senior Night! Come on out to our varsity game vs. Reed City tonight and cheer on our girls and they go to battle with the Coyotes. The game is set to start shortly after our MS track meet (6pm-ish) and we will recognize our 4 seniors and our exchange student at the half.

The Grant Tigers Boys Basketball program will be teaming up with Grace Christian University to put on a two day basketball clinic for both boys and girls. Coach Krombeen, Grace Christians head coach, along with some of his staff and players will be hosting a clinic tailored for our youth athletes in grades 3 through 8. This camp will aim to enhance participants' understanding of the game while improving their individual skills and techniques. They will cover all aspects of basketball; dribbling, shooting, offensive strategies, defensive strategies and much more.

We invite all youth boys and girls in grades 3 - 8 who love the game of basketball to join of for 2 days of hoops. This is a great opportunity to learn from college coaches and players and enhance your basketball knowledge and skills.

Must register before Friday, May 29th to be guaranteed a shirt. Registration will close Friday, June 5th.

Dates: June 8 and 9
Times: 9AM - 12:00PM (3rd - 5th) and 1:00PM - 4:00PM (6th - 8th) - If we don't have enough to fill both time slots we will combine and change our times.

Last week was a busy week for our Tiger athletes. Varsity baseball and softball each played 4 games and both teams went 4-0. Our Varsity track team had a home dual on Tuesday and then competed in the Newaygo County Invite on Thursday in White Cloud. Our boys track team came away with a 2nd place finish in White Cloud. Girls soccer had home games on Monday (5-0 win vs Chip Hills), and on Wednesday against Big Rapids (8-0 loss). Then they finished a suspended game vs Tri County Thursday and took on Fremont Saturday. The boys JV baseball team, golf and tennis team also had a busy week of action. Take a look at some pictures of last weeks action.
