The JV girls stepped out on the court for the first time together this season at the White Cloud Invitational and came ready to play! You would have thought they’d been playing together all season, already. It was so fun to watch how they took on their roles and effortlessly worked together. We knew going in that Big Rapids would be a top competitor and they are the only team we lost to during round robin play. Getting matched up with them during the championship game made it extra exciting to push for the win! They kept positive attitudes the whole day which only helped them in their success of achieving first place. I’m excited to see where the rest of the season takes us.

Our Varsity team traveled to Tri-County tonight for their season opener and won in 3 sets! 25-18 26-24 25-15 Being down 2 seniors/starters the girls played great, easily adjusted to the new line up and ended up excelling! Kudos to Danica Gee for stepping it up with our other girls out. She stepped into the setting position, which is not an easy position at all. With all that was asked of her, she was running her butt off and did it all with smiles and encouragement. Our leaders tonight were Payton Bouwkamp- 7 kills Payton Bouwkamp- 4 aces Danica Gee- 12 digs and 22 assists
