Founded in 1997, LionHeart Productions, Inc. is a 501(c) 3, not for profit community theatre.
Based in Grant, Michigan, LionHeart is proud of its reputation for quality, family-friendly productions.
LionHeart holds public auditions for its productions and many adults and children have had their first on-stage experience in a LionHeart show.
The all volunteer group also offers plenty of opportunities for those who would rather contribute "behind the scenes".
Positions are available in many different theatrical disciplines such as lighting, scene design and construcion, costuming and the like.
LionHeart members enjoy training novices in all manner of skills.
The Apprentice Program, which earns community service credit, is offered for high school Juniors and Seniors
Membership in LionHeart offers reduced ticket price and the opportunity to reserve tickets before they go on sale to the general public.
Members also receive the company's newsletter, The Mane Stage, and may attend the annual members' picnic as well as other events.
Audiences have enjoyed LionHeart's quality productions.
The group also offers workshops and has participated in many educatonal opportunities involving scout groups, churches and local schools.
LionHeart is working in cooperation with a number of schools, churches and local theatre companies to provide props, costumes and scenery and is also storing materials for three local high schools.
