"The 2010 fall boys' season was an awesome ride.
The team played hard and played two top 10 ranked schools.
The Tigers tied #10 Whitehall at their place. Then the team traveled to Ferris State University and
lost a tough match to #5 Traverse City St. Francis. They had multiple 3 set matches,
but the team just couldn't come up with those last few points.
The Regional for the guys was hosted in Traverse City.
The team went up the night before for practice on the TC courts and then went out for dinner and bowling.
The Tigers battled hard in the Regional but they had a couple of 3 set matches that didn't go
our way.
At the end of the day, we missed qualifying for the STATE tournament by a single point!
The great season showcased the teams hard work and dedication. Alex Bonk
received Grant's first ever All Area Selection at #1 Singles, and the #1
Doubles team of Tyler "Skinny" Smith and Austin Brinker
was selected to attend the All State team."
