The Grant Community Education and Resource Center offers a wide variety
of educational opportunities and services to benefit the community. Programs
include Building Bridges and MECEP preschool, adult and alternative education, GED and
high school completion classes, senior citizen activities and an extensive
summer migrant program.
The Center also provides office space for different agencies in Newaygo County so
that community members can get services they need without having to travel outside the community. This "one stop shopping" is convenient for people who
need service from Newaygo County Mental Health, WIC, AARP in the spring,
Telamon in the fall, and the Michigan Employment Security Agency.
Office hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Daycare is
available at no charge to anyone enrolled.
MISSION STATEMENT
Our Center is dedicated to providing excellent education to all students and
to helping employers and agencies serve our community.
