Each year students are required to update their Educational Development Plans (EDP's).  Students update these on an Internet-based career exploration and planning tool called, Career Cruising.  Each year students complete activities to explore career and college options and develop a career plan.  Career Cruising can be accessed from school, from home, or wherever your son or daughter has access to the Internet.  Features of the program include:  Interest and Skills Assessment; Career Profiles; Multimedia Interviews; College and Financial Aid Information; Electronic EDP Tool; and Resume Builder.  Each year in your child's language arts classes, students update their EDP's and conduct career-related activities.

                            Complete Career Cruising Activities #5, #6, #10, #12, and #13

                            Update Transcript

                            Take Achievement tests (MME, ACT, PSAT, ASVAB)

 

12th Grade        Update Portfolio

                            Update Resume

                            Submit final portfolio and resume

                            Complete Financial Aid/Scholarship questionaire

                            Review Career Cruising Activities of choice

                            Update Transcript

                            Re-take ACT, MME, and ASVAB if needed
